4-H Camps

Junior 4-H Camp June 10 – June 14, 2024

Junior 4-H Camp is for youth who are in grades 4-6. Cost is $350. This five-day resident camp is available at all 4-H Centers and offers excellent youth programing. The Clyde Austin 4-H center is host Campbell County in June. Activities include swimming, shooting sports, group sports, fishing, nature hikes, woodworking, T-Shirt airbrushing, and more. Quota 100. Junior High 4-H Camp July 8 – July 12, 2024

4-H Jr. High Camp is for older youth who are in grades 6-8. This camp is held at Clyde Austin 4-H Center in Greenville, TN. Cost is $390. Participants may choose from one of multiple activities. There will also be swimming, paddleboard, kayak, gaga ball, shooting sports, arts and crafts and more. See brochure for more information or contact the Campbell County Extension office. Transportation will not be provided. You can bring your payment into the UT Extension office or mail to UT Extension Office, 555 Main Street, Jacksboro, TN 37757. Payment is cash or check.

Target Smart Camp May 27 – May 31. 2024

4-H Target Smart Camp is a program of TN 4-H Shooting Sports.  It is for youth who are enrolled in grades 6-9 the current calendar school year.  This resident camp is located at the Clyde M. York 4-H Center in Greenville, TN.  Participants do not need shooting experience prior to attending camp.  Campers will participate in activities that will develop fire arm safety, responsibilities and life skills.  They will experience and participate in skill competition in specific disciplines such as archery, rifle, shotgun and hunting & outdoor skills.  Cost: TBA Visit the 4-H Shooting Sports Website for more information.
